Spalted Hackberry Wooden Bowl

This food safe wooden bowl is made from Spalted Hackberry and hand turned in our shop. This particular piece of Hackberry has such a wide array of hues it’s almost hard to capture on film. There are warm honey tones and dark almost black striations. The bowl is lightweight yet sturdy and has the warmth that only natural wood can deliver. The bowl has some natural holes and imperfections due to the spalting of the wood. Not suitable for liquids

Dimensions: just under 4-3/4” across and ~ 3-3/4” high

This bowl is food safe and can be used in the kitchen. Just treat it as you would a cutting board and keep it clean and conditioned. Also, even though it’s food safe, that doesn’t mean the kitchen is the only place for it. This bowl could easily add texture and warmth to any space in your home.

Because our pieces are turned and finished by hand, some roughness in the finish should be expected.
