This wooden bowl is made from Redheart and hand turned in our shop. Redheart is a species that grows from Southern Mexico down through Brazil and Paraguay. It is also referred to as Chakte Kok and may come from two different genus of trees that have a similar appearance but are not botanically related.
The color of Redheart ranges from light orange-pink to strong watermelon pinkish-red and has more grain pattern than Bloodwood.
This bowl is lightweight yet sturdy and has the warmth that only natural wood can deliver. The lid is Antique Pewter filagree of a heart which adds a beautiful contrast to the wood.
Dimensions: 3-3/4” across and ~ 3-3/4” high
This bowl is perfect for Potpourri, jewelry or anything that needs venting and could easily add texture and warmth to any space in your home. Because our pieces are turned and finished by hand, some roughness in the finish should be expected. Color may vary for image.
This piece is made by hand and one of a kind.
